Founded by a Linguist, Built on Real-World Expertise
Langurate was founded by Abdul Ghafir Javed, a linguist and business professional with a profound understanding of both the Arabic language and the commercial landscape of the MENA region.
" My journey began at Jamia Millia Islamia, where I earned a Bachelor's, a Master's degree, and a Diploma in Modern Arabic and Professional Translation. These rigorous programs provided me with an in-depth mastery of Arabic, from classical literature to the specific demands of modern legal and professional translation.
My experience extends far beyond academia. I spent over five years working as an Account Investigator at Amazon, where I was responsible for verifying seller accounts and business documentation in the Gulf and other MENA countries. This role gave me an unparalleled, hands-on understanding of legal compliance, authenticity, and the critical importance of accurate official documents. Later, as an Arabic Content Moderator for a Facebook project through Genpact, I refined my expertise in applying complex policy guidelines with speed and cultural sensitivity.
I founded Langurate to combine this unique blend of academic rigor and practical business experience. My goal is to provide a specialized translation service that doesn't just translate words, but truly understands the context, culture, and high stakes behind every document. "
